UTEP men 67, Middle Tennessee 66 Wochit
One week before UTEP's 67-66 victory over Middle Tennessee on Thursday night, Miner sophomore Efe Odigie was in section K, Row X of the Don Haskins Center, watching the UTEP women play Rice while his team was winning a game 800 miles away.
Odigie didn't literally go all that far in seven days, just 24 rows closer in the same gym, but that was enough for UTEP's backup center to be in the middle of a much-needed victory against the last-place team in Conference USA.
