UTEP football tries to lock back in for one last game at end of stop-and-go season

A football season unlike any other is almost over, and for UTEP, that means there is one more big hurdle still in front of them.

The opponent Friday is North Texas, but the challenge is trying to stay locked in at the end of a stop-and-go season where they've played one game in the last six weeks.

Coach Dana Dimel gave the Miners last week off, pointing out that they had done some preparation for North Texas in October when they were originally supposed to play them.
