The late rounds of the NFL draft often feel like a lottery, but two UTEP football stars will head into them with hopes that the Miners can land multiple players in the draft for the first time since 2008.
Cornerback Nik Needham and fullback Winston Dimel figure to learn their NFL destinations by Saturday night, though whether it's as a draft pick or as a free agent is still up in the air.
"I've heard fifth round or fourth rounds, I've also heard sixth or seventh, I've also heard free agent," Needham said.
