UTEP picked up its third commit from Dana Dimel’s first weekend hosting recruits as Tres Barboza announced his commitment hours after Kai Locksley and Justin Garrett announced their pledges to UTEP.

Barboza, 6’5, 295 pounds, is originally from Castroville, Texas and will have four years to play three years as an incoming sophomore.
He was among the six JUCO players UTEP hosted on official visits this past weekend.
