UTEP’s top defensive player Alvin Jones did not dress for the Miners Saturday night tilt with Army, and has walking boot on his left foot.
Jones has not practice all week after suffering a lower leg injury in the second quarter against Texas last week.
Silas Firstley will now start at middle linebacker in replace of Jones.
