According to our UTEP Football recruiting expert Angel Luna, 2016 defensive back Broderick Harrell has verbally committed to UTEP.
UTEP offered Harrell on January 7th who played at Frenship High School in Wolfforth, Texas from the Lubbock area.
Playing both at corner, and wide receiver this past season, Harrell was named second team All-District 2-6A, and was named to The Lone Star Varsity Super Team as a defensive back by the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal.
Harrell piled up 65 tackles this past season, leading the team with 15 pass breakups, and also caught 12 passes for 301 yards and two touchdowns on the offensive side of the ball.
