UTEP Director of Athletics Jim Senter announced Friday that softball head coach Tobin Echo-Hawk will not return for the 2020 season.
Six months after the UTEP softball team's season ended in the Conference USA tournament and three months after the program two assistants with long ties to the Miners, UTEP fired softball coach Tobin Echo-Hawk.
“We thank Tobin for her service to UTEP and the Miner softball program,” athletic director Jim Senter said in a press release.
