For the fourth time in the last five seasons, Tim Floyd has lost a key player either during the season or in the off-season as sophomore forward Terry Winn announced on Twitter that he is leaving the UTEP basketball program after appearing in just three games this season.

According to UTEP head coach Tim Floyd, Winn was benched in UTEP’s win against Western Michigan during the Charleston Classic due to poor play, and was sent home from Charleston for “not handling it properly” Floyd said after Wednesday’s loss to Southeastern Louisiana.
