Twenty-year-olds blessed enough to play college basketball have much to be thankful for, but the UTEP women will be happy if this Thanksgiving is a bit more lavish than last year's.
On Thanksgiving, after a three-airport travel day, they'll be busing their way from San Jose to San Luis Obispo for the Holiday Beach Classic, hoping they can find a better place to eat in California than they found in the entertainment capital of the world a year ago.
"We've been looking for about a week or so for somebody that can accommodate 25 people when most people have the day off," coach Kevin Baker said.
