UTEP Basketball: Roderick Williams verbally commits to UTEP

UTEP picked up a very important verbal commit of major need as 2017 forward Roderick Williams verbally committed to UTEP late Saturday night.

Williams will play this coming season at East Los Angeles College after originally signing with Cal State Dominguez Hills in 2015, and red shirted last season meaning he will have three years of D-1 eligibility if he signs in the class of 2017.

The 6'6, 220 pound combo forward/guard is a California native and was a 2015 John R. Wooden Award High School Player of the Year averaging 15 points and eight rebounds in his senior year.
