Two UTEP basketball players entered the transfer portal in the past week, including sophomore-to-be Deon Stroud, who was one of two bench players seeing time at the end of the season.
Anthony Tarke, who was not in the rotation at the end of the season, is the other player intending to leave, as that group has now reached four since the year ended with a loss to Marshall in the Conference USA tournament three weeks ago.
Starting point guard Jordan Lathon and guard Nigel Hawkins previously entered the portal.
