The UTEP men's basketball program is having a strong September of recruiting.
On Thursday, Houston standout Jesse Zarzuela confirmed that he has verbally committed to play for UTEP starting in the 2019-20 season.
On Friday, 6-foot-5 San Antonio guard Brendan Wenzel said on his Twitter page that he also will join the Miners for the 2019-20 season.
Both players can sign in November and verbal commitments are nonbinding.
