The UTEP men's basketball team filled its last scholarship spot, adding Keonte Kennedy, a 6-foot-5 guard transferring in from Xavier.
The sophomore will have to sit out the 2019-20 season on a transfer. The move was initially reported by CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein.

Kennedy is on campus but until he makes it through the NCAA clearinghouse, expected in the next few days, UTEP can't officiallcomment.
Kennedy, who is from Austin, Texas, left the Xavier Musketeers on Feb.
