Three things learned at UTEP football practice

As coach Dana Dimel hinted a day earlier, UTEP is getting closer to full health.

The Miners had close to full participation Tuesday, with Justin Prince and Andrew Meyer the two notable exceptions. The center Meyer, who has an ankle injury, was involved, shadowing offensive line drills. He is still hopeful to play against New Mexico.

Prince, who is in a walking boot, is out until at least the Conference USA opener against Old Dominion.

Ball security is theme

Following the six turnover game against Boise State, the offense is stressing minimizing that this week.
