Aaron and Alvin Jones are passionate about giving back to the community and they are passionate about shoes.
Those two things worked together Sunday when they fulfilled a pledge from their charity softball game last month, which raised the money they just gave back to the community.
With a DJ on hand, the A&A All The Way Foundation gave away 595 pairs of shoes in an event at the Jones' alma mater Burges High School on Sunday. The giveaway consisted of shoes, cleats and backpacks. The groups that were invited to receive the shoes include El Paso and surrounding area’s elementary, middle, and high school students and special children’s programs.
