The hardest part about analyzing the UTEP football team's five-game losing streak is identifying progress.
Progress from last season to this one is easy to find. They have become down-in, down-out competitive, they win as many plays as they lose, they are only losing because of four or five snaps where they look lost.
What is more difficult after the 32-17 loss to Florida International Saturday is arguing that if it wouldn't have been those four or five snaps, it would have been another four or five snaps.
