Power in a small package: UTEP tailback Torrance Burgess Jr. breaks out

All through camp the UTEP football team talked about its depth at running back, about the stacked list of rushers who gave the Miners options and changes of pace.

When the season kicked off last week at Jacksonville State, however, that was all theoretical. The reality was featured back Deion Hankins was the only traveling rusher with more than the briefest of Division I cameos on his resume.
