One season ago, UTEP center Efe Odigie was the star of a fairly poor show.
As a freshman, the 6-foot-9 big man led Conference USA in rebounding while setting a UTEP freshman record, he became the first Miner since 1981-82 to average a double-double and he did it all for the last-place team in the league. He was the big fish in a rather dingy pond.
