The UTEP Miners (6-4, 3-3 Conference USA) traveled to North Texas (4-6, 3-3 C-USA) to face the Mean Green on Saturday, Nov. 13, where they faced a heartbreaking loss.
UTEP is currently 2-3 on the road this season and is on a three-game losing streak after falling to UNT. The Miners are currently on a five-game losing streak against the Mean Green and are 2-11-2 when playing in Denton.
The game proved to be a defensive game early on that resulted in a scoreless first quarter. While no points were scored, sophomore quarterback Gavin Hardison recorded a 27-yard rushing play, which is a career long.
