Once again, the UTEP women's basketball team had a Conference USA power broker, this time Middle Tennessee, square in its sights.
And again, the Miners watched the team with the championship pedigree make all the big shots as the Blue Raiders broke open a one possession game in the final five minutes to come away with a 92-80 victory.

Middle Tennessee simply shot UTEP out of the gym on this afternoon, making 12-of-28 3-pointers to the Miners' 4-of-19, including back-to-back 3s after UTEP closed to 78-75 with 5:37 left.
