Former NFL standout Seth Joyner, former NBA standout Antonio Davis, former PGA Tour golfer Paul Stankowski, Olympic medalist Blessing Okagbare and former Miner volleyball star Cynthia Ruelas will be inducted into the UTEP Athletic Hall of Fame at a banquet Friday night in the Larry K. Durham Center.
Seth Joyner
Joyner played at UTEP from 1982-85 and then became one of the NFL's top linebackers, making the Pro Bowl three times and being named Sports Illustrated NFL Player of the Year in 1991 for the Philadelphia Eagles. Joyner's No. 59 was forever prominent and always an imposing figure in an amazing Eagle defense that included Reggie White and Jerome Brown.
