UTEP will host Rice, travel to Charlotte and play Middle Tennessee in a home-and-home in their final push to make the Conference USA tournament.
The Miners host Rice on Saturday, Middle Tennessee on March 6 and play at Charlotte March 3 (TBD), and at Middle Tennessee on March 9.
These are called "Bonus Play" games by Conference USA. The bottom four teams in the conference play each other in a round robin with UTEP, the 13th-placed team, playing No 12 Middle Tennessee twice.
“We’re excited about C-USA Bonus Play and the opportunity to play two more games in front of our passionate fans,” UTEP coach Rodney Terry said.
