RUIDOSO, N.M. — For most of the last five years, UTEP's consistent offensive struggles started at wide receiver.

There have been productive individuals, and UTEP is looking to replace one after losing Warren Redix to graduation, but as a group they haven't had enough explosion, enough field-stretchers, enough receptions.

When Camp Ruidoso opened, there was optimism the Miners had enough bullets to start a trend the other direction, and for the first time in several years they began fall with a clear No. 1 in Tre'Shon Wolf.
