While sophomore Jason Driskel counts as Florida Atlantic's starting quarterback, freshman Daniel Parr has played in six of the nine games and actually got the starting nod last week against Rice.
He played the first two series and was one of three in passing before giving way to Driskel, who was 15 of 23.
Coach Charlie Partridge didn't say who would start against UTEP.
"I think that is what helped us win Saturday," he said of the rotation. "Daniel earned the opportunity to start through the course of the week. He started and Jason was going to be there the third series.
