UTEP's special teams made a big step forward last week against Louisiana Tech, but face a bigger challenge against North Texas.
The Mean Green have blocked three kicks this year, tied for seventh nationally and they are first in Conference USA, and have also blocked a punt. They have a punt return touchdown.
On the bright side for UTEP, they had three kickoff returns go past the 25-yard line after having one of those in the first six games.
