UTEP volleyball's Hande Yetis arrived in El Paso three years ago from her native Izmir, Turkey just as the Miners were starting to get good.
She's made herself a big part of that as a setter and floor leader, where she's second on the team in assists for a squad that finished third in Conference USA and starts playing in the league tournament Friday.
An engineering major, Yetis was named to the C-USA all-academic volleyball team.
How is the team playing as the postseason arrives?
