Faces off the field: UTEP track's Joshua Hill

After missing the 2022 season to injury, UTEP 400-meter runner Joshua Hill is back and faster than ever. His time of 46.66 seconds last week in Arizona was his personal best and ranks him second going into this weekend's Conference USA championships in Denton.

He's hoping to get back to the national championship meet, where he ran in 2021 as part of UTEP's 1,600-meter relay team, and beyond that, to qualify for the World Championships for the British Virgin Islands.

His father Guy ran at UTEP and was part of the first British Virgin Islands Olympic team as a sprinter in 1984.
