El Paso's Aaron Jones sees season come to an end in NFC title game

For the second straight year, El Paso's Aaron Jones and the Green Bay Packers saw their season end in the NFC Championship game.

On Sunday in Green Bay, the Packers lost 31-26 to Tampa Bay as Green Bay ends its season with a 14-4 record. Last year, the Packers lost to San Francisco. Tampa Bay advances to the Super Bowl on Feb. 7 in Tampa, Florida.

Jones, who was a fifth round pick of Green Bay in 2017, finished the game with 27 yards rushing on six carries and four catches for seven yards.

The 5-foot-9, 207-pound Jones missed much of the second half after suffering a chest injury in the third quarter after catching a short pass on the Packers’ first drive of the second half.
