El Paso native and current NFL running back Aaron Jones made an appearance at the Don Haskins Center on Tuesday night as New Mexico State and UTEP met in a men's college basketball game.
Jones entered the arena about five minutes into the game wearing a Texas Western jersey.
Jones is in his third season with the Green Bay Packers and is home for a few days this week as the Packers are enjoying an off week. Green Bay is 8-2 on the season and Jones, who played at Burges High School and UTEP, has played a key part.
