With a 4-1 record for the first time in more than a decade, the UTEP football team is walking on new ground.
Given how poor the old ground was that's pleasant, but it is new, untrod and presents its own set of challenges.

At his press conference to kick off Southern Miss week, a game against a 1-4 team where in the space of a few hours Monday morning UTEP went from a one-point underdog to a two-point favorite, coach Dana Dimel said his team wasn't so good dealing with that challenge when it was 3-1.
