Dana Dimel talks about Southern Miss Bret Bloomquist, Wochit
What strikes UTEP coach Dana Dimel as his team begins to prepare for this Saturday is how very close he feels his team is to going into the game with Southern Miss off a big win.
The Miners are coming in off a 37-21 loss to Nevada, but after looking back at the game, which was tied 21-21 late in the third quarter, Dimel said that could have swung the other way.
"Our team gained a lot of confidence in comparison to where we were a year ago," he said at his Monday press conference.
