The UTEP women's golf team has the talent to make a run for a Conference USA championship Monday through Wednesday in Fort Myers, Florida.
When they are are their best, they are formidable, as their four tournament victories this year have shown. They are full of confidence now, coming off a win at the 20-team Wyoming Cowgirl Classic.
To turn that into the conference championship, they have to channel that talent in the proper way. They have to be smart.
"Course management and decision-making," coach Jere Pelletier said.
