Big win: Jazion Jackson's buzzer-beat stuns No. 21 Middle Tennessee

The UTEP women's basketball team had No. 21 Middle Tennessee square in their sights. A chance at a defining victory, a chance at beating a ranked team for the first time in 24 years, a chance to upend the Lady Raiders 16-game winning streak was right there.

Her buzzer-beating 3-pointer broke the only tie of the last 15:56 and broke Middle, giving the Miners a hard-earned and well-deserved 65-62 victory that can rewrite the narrative of the season. UTEP improved to 14-6 overall, 7-4 in Conference USA while MTSU fell to 18-3, 11-1.

With 4.6 seconds to go and inbounding at midcourt after a forcing a Middle Tennessee jump ball, UTEP ran a play for Sabine Lipe, who was covered.
