Alvin Jones Sr., the father of former UTEP football stars Aaron and Alvin Jones, died on April 6 from complications from COVID-19, the family confirmed Monday.
The 57-year-old spent his final days in a local hospital.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday and Friday to celebrate Jones' life.
The wake will be held Thursday at 5 p.m. The funeral will be Friday at 1 p.m. Services will be held at Crestview Funeral Home at 1462 N. Zaragoza Rd.
