After a jolting start, the Chihuahuas have hit a brick wall

The El Paso Chihuahuas have a quick turnaround after their 7-2 loss to Fresno in front of their home crowd on Sunday. They will board a plane to Tacoma and Fresno for a nine-game road series.

Most teams would dread a road series, but the Chihuahuas are starving for anything that can help improve their dismal slump. They fare better when they travel at 13-7, compared to their 8-15 home record.

The Chihuahuas are coming off a series loss to the Fresno Grizzlies, losing three of the four games this past weekend at home.

They fell 9-7 on Thursday to Fresno, but quickly bounced back in a 8-7 win on Saturday.
