The UTEP football team goes into Dana Dimel's second spring in two distinct places.
Offensively, the Miners return most of their key pieces, get other key pieces back from injury and are looking to build up from a fairly low place.
Defensively, UTEP has lost many of their top playmakers from last year, but those graduates did leave a foundation to build on as UTEP is coming off its best defensive season in several years.
