PULLMAN, Wash. — Though Washington State has defeated Utah in the two times Tyler Huntley has played under center for the Utes, Mike Leach doesn’t like to remember competing against the junior.
“We’ve played against him more than I’d like to remember,” the Washington State head coach said. “He’s a talented guy.”
As the Cougars celebrated in the locker room after beating Utah 28-24 Saturday, Leach reflected on the game to reporters, describing Huntley as “the key” to the Utes’ offense.
“He’s a gifted guy and he’s kind of the key to their offense. The running back is outstanding, but he’s kind of the key to it because you’ve got to keep your eye on both things,” Leach said.
