TUCSON, Ariz. – The Utah volleyball team fell in straight sets to the No. 14-ranked Arizona Wildcats, falling 17-25, 19-25 and 16-25 in Pac-12 Conference action at the McKale Center Sunday afternoon.
Sophomore Adora Anae led the Utes with 12 kills and she posted her 12th double-double of the season with 11 kills in the match. Freshman Megan Shughrou led Utah with 12 digs, while senior Kendall Cygan added nine digs to go along with her team-high 17 assists.
Despite Carly Trueman’s six kills and .750 hitting percentage in the first set, Utah dropped the frame 25-17.
