BOULDER, Colo. - The Utah volleyball team closed out the 2015 campaign with a 3-1 loss (25-19, 21-25, 15-25, 17-25) to the Colorado Buffs Friday afternoon at Coors Events Center.
Utah (10-21, 4-16) out-hit Colorado (19-13, 11-19) .241 to -.029 in the first set, but the Buffs came back to hit .382, .444 and .379 over the final three sets, respectively, while limiting the Utes to hitting percentages of just .273, .034 and .118 down the stretch.
The Utes opened the first set winning six of the first nine points and later used a 7-2 run to go up 17-9.
