LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The Utah volleyball team snapped its recent two-match win streak, falling to the No. 9-ranked UCLA Bruins in four sets (16-25, 20-25, 25-21, 16-25) Friday evening at Pauley Pavilion.
The Utes (9-15, 3-10 Pac-12), who snapped a nine-match losing streak last weekend, fell behind 2-0 in the match after hitting just .167 and .064 in the first and second sets, respectively, but then turned around to post a .233 hitting percentage to take the third frame and pull within a set of the Bruins (19-4, 10-3 Pac-12), down 2-1.
