LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Utah volleyball team dropped its first road match of the season, falling in three sets (19-25, 16-25 ,12-25) to the Louisville Cardinals in first round action of the Louisville/Active Ankle Challenge at Cardinal Arena in Louisville, Ky., Friday evening.
Sophomore Adora Anae led the Utes (5-3) with seven kills, but her .182 hitting percentage was a team-high as the team hit for a season-low average of -.010, while the Cardinals (3-3) managed to record 20 more kills than the Utes (42 to 22) and hit .252 in the three-set sweep.
