SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – The University of Utah volleyball team has been picked to finish 10th in the 2015 Pac-12 Volleyball Preseason Coaches Poll, the conference office announced on Tuesday.
The Utes, who were picked 10th in last season’s coaches poll, went 20-13 overall and 9-11 in Pac-12 play, finishing in a tie for seventh-place in the league standings. Utah went just 2-10 in the first half of conference-play last season, but then surged to a 7-1 mark down the stretch, while earning the program’s second-straight at large berth to the NCAA Tournament.
Utah went 1-1 in the first two rounds of postseason action, defeating Kansas State in straight sets before falling in five sets to then No.
