COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Utah’s Adora Anae helped lead the USA Volleyball Women’s Junior National Team to a gold medal finish in the U-22 Division at the 2015 European Global Challenge in Pula, Croatia, this past week.
The USA squad defeated the Italian Junior National Team, 3-2 (25-21, 23-25, 20-25, 25-21, 15-12), in the championship match on Thursday. Anae led Team USA in scoring during the championship match, recording 18 points on 15 total attacks.
Both teams registered 13 blocks in the match, but Team USA’s serve netted nine aces on 107 attempts to the Italian’s four aces.
