SALT LAKE CITY – Sophomore outside hitters Adora Anae and Eliza Katoa racked up a combined 28 kills and both players hit over .300 as the No. 23-ranked Utah Utes downed Idaho State 3-1 (25-21, 23-25, 25-17, 25-21) in the 2015 season-opener Friday evening at the Huntsman Center.
“It is always good to get a win, that is the bottom line,” said Utah head coach Beth Launiere. “We identified a certain number of things that we have to get better at, but we knew that every match was going to be a learning experience for us.
