OJAI, Calif. -- The University of Utah women's tennis competed in the singles draw of the Pac-12 Championships Thursday at the Ojai Valley Athletic Club with sophomore Margo Pletcher going 1-1 on the day to advance to the round of 16.
Pletcher, a Laguna Nigle, Calif., native, defeated Colorado's Jeannez Daniel 6-4 and 6-2 in her first match of the day for the round of 32 before falling to No. 7 seed Lauren Marker of Arizona in the round of 16, 7-5, 6-1.
Freshman Brianna Turley lost a 6-0, 6-0 decisions to Arizona State's Ebony Panoho.
