ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The No. 51 University of New Mexico women's tennis team came up short in a 5-2 decision at No. 69 New Mexico on Saturday at the Randy Briggs Tennis Dome.
The Utes claimed the doubles point and picked up one singles victory on the day against the Lobos.
The doubles’ point was clinched by Taylor Calton and Luisa Gerstner Da Rosa, who picked up a 6-3 win over New Mexico’s Rachana Bhat and Ludivine Burguiere.
In the No. 1 doubles match, Margo Pletcher and Brianna Turley beat Emily Olivier and Dominique Dulski, 6-3.
