SALT LAKE CITY – The No. 63 Utah women’s tennis team fell to 10-4 this season after suffering a 4-1 defeat to the No. 26 Arizona State Sun Devils on Sunday in the Pac-12 Conference at the Eccles Tennis Center.
Sophomore Margo Pletcher gave the Utes their lone point in the match after defeating Desirae Krawczyk, 6-2, 6-4, in the No. 1 singles match.
“This was a tough loss today although I am proud of how we battled,” Utah head coach Mat Iandolo said. “[Pletcher] had a huge win and that bodes well for the future.
