OJAI, Calif. – The doubles tandem of sophomore Margo Pletcher and freshman Brianna Turley earned a win in the Round of 16 of the Doubles Championship draw Friday at the Pac-12 Championship at the Ojai Tennis Club.
Pletcher and Turley turned in a 6-3 victory over California’s Maegan Manasse and Denise Starr in the Round of 16.
In the quarterfinals, Pletcher and Turley fell short in a 7-5 match against Alexandra Osborne and Ebony Panoho of Arizona State.
Alexia Petrovic and Sarah Richter earned a bye in the first round of the Invitational Doubles tournament and faced UCLA’s Terri Fleming and Alaina Miller and would unfortunately fall short in a 6-3 verdict,
Also in the first round of the Invitational Doubles draw, freshman Taylor Calton and Luisa Gerstner Da Rosa dropped a 6-4 decision to ASU’s Samantha Hampton and Kassidy Jump.
