SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah women's soccer team has earned a NSCAA Team Academic Award after another successful year in the classroom.
A total of 554 soccer teams over three divisions posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the NSCAA Team Academic Award for the 2014-15 academic year. Utah posted a 3.41 team GPA and was third among all Pac-12 teams. Last year, the Utes posted a cumulative 3.33 GPA and was fourth in the Pac-12
Since the award was instituted in 1996, Utah has been named 14 times, including the last six seasons.
