W. Basketball. Wicijowski is Utah's Nominee for 2015 NCAA Woman of the Year Award

SALT LAKE CITY - Former women's basketball forward Taryn Wicijowski has been selected as the University of Utah's nominee for the 2015 NCAA Woman of the Year award, it was announced today.

The national award honors the top graduating female college student-athlete from all three divisions who have exhausted their eligibility and distinguished themselves throughout their collegiate careers in academics, athletics, service and leadership.

Academics

Wicijowski is the reigning Pac-12 Women's Basketball Scholar-Athlete of the Year and was a force in the classroom as a two-time academic all-conference honoree. She earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology (emphasis in Cellular and Molecular Biology) and Psychology with a minor in Chemistry to go with a minor in Nutrition, while maintaining a 3.
